The Q & A session of a panel discussion on the Gaza health crisis sponsored by Canadians for Justice and Peace in the Middle East that took place on 6 April 2009 in Toronto, Canada. Shamefully, a group of Zionists tried to hijack the discussion away from the topic - the health crisis in Gaza. As one panelist succinctly stated, if you cannot acknowledge the humanity of what is taking place, then there is no possibility for a dialogue on the subject and you should not be here. The four-part video illustrates what Zionists do all too often at presentations that contain criticisms of Israel. The callousness and rudeness is on display. You can judge for yourself.

The four panelists, from left to right are:

Dr. Abdel Rahman Lawendy, born and raised in Canada, is an Orthopedic Surgery Resident in London. He travelled to Gaza as part of and international medical team and worked in a hospital during the Israeli 23-day attack.

Dr. Jim Deutsch is a psychiatrist in Toronto. He has visited and worked worked in West Bank in the area of mental health.

Judy Deutsch is a social worker in Toronto. She has visited and worked in the West Bank and presented a paper on mental health.

Dr. Miriam Garfinkle is a family physician in Toronto. She is a strong and long time peace activist on health issues in Palestine.
