Verizon clearly does not cripple their EVDO speeds. This video is completely refuting mobilitytoday's claim.

  • good point

  • hey i just saw your headblade video

  • i want one of those so bad!

  • oh, jeez. boys and their toys.

  • All that is great but evdo will not be impressive until most phones/pda's use evdo rev.a because of the improved latency. I.E. you can use voip on your PDA with evdo rev.a

  • Great job I was very impressed with your video. I have to say I continue to test VZW speeds and in the NY/NJ metro it is all over the place compared to sprint. Thanks for your comments!!

  • nice work! you did a very nice job seems real not slanted.

  • i performed the test under more ideal conditions. new york city area at 4am... full strength... results are between 95 and 350 kbps. factor in the time of day and area. wireless sigals are time and frequency spliced. so the number of concurrent connections is important. also consider distance to main hub.

different regions can be "crippled or not crippled.
