Day 1 of a walking project from Los Angeles to San Francisco along the proposed High Speed Rail route
Starting out at Union Station in LA we walked the proposed rail route along LA River and San Fernando Road to Burbank, about 14 miles. We stopped at the Metropolitan Transportation Authority, the 'Cornfield', Metabolic Studio, and the Confluence.
Thanks to Valerie Martinez from CHSR, Irv and others from MTA, City Planner and Artist James Rojas, Lewis McAdams from FOLAR, Sean Woods from CA State Parks, and Janet Owen Driggs from Social Practice Art Network for having conversations with us.
