Piers Morgan Tonight - Piers Morgan, the new 9pmET host on CNN, and Larry King, the longtime CNN 9pmET host who came before, discussed some recent comments King made on BBC Radio 4. Was Piers "oversold"? Is he really as "dangerous" as the promos say?

The two discussed "Piers Morgan Tonight" so far, as well as the meaning of "dangerous." "I'm from Brooklyn," said King. "If you say 'I'm dangerous,' you better be dangerous." In the end though, King joked that Piers was in fact dangerous after Piers told him suspenders in the U.K. actually mean quite a different thing than they do in the U.S.

I'll take Piers over King ,any day, no matter what his flaws - for now. King in the last 10 years,AT LEAST, had become so clueless,incompetent,pathetic,­while maintaining his delusions- of-grandeur that he was a know-it-all,just because 1) he's from Brooklyn, and 2)he's a Leftist. And the RATINGS showed it; they were practically in the toilet. Has everyone already forgotten that?

Lacking charisma, arrogant, pompous, self-righteous, self serving, and with a tinitus voice,: all those I could possibly forgive Piers Morgan in 50 years time, if he wasnt so overwhelmingly hideous to watch.

He has a face suited for the radio, and a voice that is golden when its silent.

America: Piers Morgan (along with Simon Cowell) , is one British export we in the UK are happy for you to keep.

prefer larry king but what I do like about Piers Morgan is that its what I used to like about larry in his hey days. its back to a variety show where you got politics one day, an actor the next, and its a variety as opposed to always seeing american idol which was what happened to larry king in the even, no variety.
