2010 New Orleans Saints Yearbook: Front Seven

In 2010 No NFC defense was better than New Orleans.The # 1 ranked defense in the NFC and #4 overall.Yes,they were better than the defending SB Champion Green Bay Packers!Greg Williams' defense has made a name for themselves.They have become notorious for their aggressive, risky, nasty,pitiless style that confuses,even the most experienced of QB's.The 2010 Saints defense were at the top of their game.They went from being a bend,don't break in 2009,to a mean shutdown defense in 2010.No team allowed fewer Td's through the air(11)and they only surrendered 13 on the ground.Which allowed them to rank 7th in point allowed.The defense was riddled with injuries throughout the year,but still created havoc for opponents!The Dome became a burial ground for one particular QB on Halloween night.The defense showcased, perhaps, it's finest performance of the season,against the Steelers.They were flat out scary.

The 2011 defense is shaping up to be just as hot as the 2010 defense.And if this video is a sign of things to come...lookout NFL!
