@avyaan The Brunswick GSX came out in 2009 and has 30% less parts than the A2 with Pin Detection plates under the lane so it doesn't get messed up by cosmic bowling black lights.
The AMF 82/90XL (not sure when it released and its similarity to the XLi in this case) allows not just one, but two sets of pins to be readied at the pinholder above the pinsetter allowing more frames per stop. It uses an infrared sensor to detect the ball and is at a disadvantage for cosmic bowling. GSX=better
@kbowlgod300 call them junk if you like but they have proven time and time again to be the most reliable pinsetter ever produced by any company. i work on A2's as well, the center i'm at has 24 of them and they are all properly maintained. we average 5 calls a night. another center that i've been at had the GSX machines and they were averaging 5 calls a month with full league lineage every night. i've also bowl 2 leagues at another center that has brand new AMF 90xli and they are horrible
@Triley215 - Brunswick did not design the GS series pinsetter. It was designed in Germany and actually pieces from at least 5 different pinsetters. If you look you can see parts from, some Brunswick, mostly amf, pin loading like a candlepin machine, elevator like a5 pin machine, and chain drive like a Sherman duckpin machine

The garbage was replaced by Brunswick with the stuff AMF pioneered.
