Splendide, un jeu à la Oscar Peterson, jubilatoire!

Kapustin's music is so exciting! I am working on Op 40 # 6 for it's happy vibe, beautiful structure, but man, killer tempo. This is next. Will I live long enough?! Anyone else working on them? These recordings and the few videos of Mr. Nikolai show that **IT"S POSSIBLE** to play them with power and speed.

He's the first major piano player, master-composer to write out jazz pieces that use rhythm, form and orchestration raised to the level of Liszt, Rachmaninov or Chopin!
He really brightens my days!
