  • He's the first major piano player, master-composer to write out jazz pieces that use rhythm, form and orchestration raised to the level of Liszt, Rachmaninov or Chopin!

    He really brightens my days!

  • I love his compositions. They are so refreshing and innovative. Not to mention VERY difficult!!!!

  • Learning to play this but in a veeery slow tempo :D :/

  • listening to this music wears me out

  • Splendide, un jeu à la Oscar Peterson, jubilatoire!

  • My friend who is 19 and a sophomore in college at BYU nails this piece.

  • I want to hear someone scat 1:55-2:10

  • 2:26 - 2:30 SO MAGICAL

  • Kapustin's music is so exciting! I am working on Op 40 # 6 for it's happy vibe, beautiful structure, but man, killer tempo. This is next. Will I live long enough?! Anyone else working on them? These recordings and the few videos of Mr. Nikolai show that **IT"S POSSIBLE** to play them with power and speed.

  • @radiokid2 eehhh? what happened to Chick Korea? or Billy Evans? ooor Gershwin?
