An angry Errol Christie didn't take long (1 min11sec) to defeat his American opponent Bobby Hoy at North Bridge Leisure Centre, Halifax, Yorkshire on 1-11-1984.
Too chinny to even be even a top ten contender mate.Classy boxer though.A little glimpse of how good he might have been can be see in his fight against Michael Watson which was toward the end of his career. Beautiful moves, hard punches.Well, until Watson started cracking him on the chin.Scary that Errol didn't really get over the first knockdown but he managed to fiddle his way through to the third before getting ko'd. I think Errol "burned out" with the long amateur career to be honest.
Too chinny what like Amir Khan?
