This is an Application Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC) in the transistor level. This ASIC takes an 8-bit unsigned number which represents degrees in Fahrenheit, then determines the minimum, maximum, average, or current degrees in both Celsius or Fahrenheit. The Datapath design was minimized to use only 5% of total Padframe area required.

  • Tidy, well-structured, and very compact. I think this is one of the best layout I've seen.
