They are not Ganguro. This type of girl is simply called "gyaru". Ganguro don't usually shop at Me Jane - the bag the girl was carrying.

thx but it was the end of a conversation about ganguro with a friend next to me, i know the word gyaru (gal) and all stuff about them and different styles : b-gal, kogal, yamamba etc ..., those girls are just kogal or kogyaru if u preferer. Dont worry, i know japan and gyaru pretty well.

Kogal is what foreigners call these girls. Kogyaru is an old name. Only Japanese people in their late twenties or older call these girls kogyaru. Young people know the word has been shortened to simply "gyaru". Oh.. I have lived in Tokyo for 9 years. And LOVE LOVE gyaru!! Those girls in your video are cho kawaii!!

dont worry i know that too! There's to much names, thats why ppl prefer to use shortcut like "gyaru" to speak about them. But for many french ppl, a gyaru is a gyaru, a yamamba is a yamamba and a kogal is a kogal! LOL!
