Here's an idea Ive been working on for a little while. I'm playing a paradiddle between the floor tom, hi hat and snare drum. The left hand pattern allows you to play an off beat choke pattern on the hi hats. Then I play doubles on the bass pedal. Lastly, I'm changing the pattern at the end by occasionally keeping the right hand on the floor tom instead of moving it around with the rest of the pattern.

The kit I'm playing has sadly seen better days. Its the practice/teaching kit at work and its in dire need of some new skins. But hey, a bad workman blames his tools.
