Too often, Americas fertile fields succumb to development and disappear forever along with the rustic barns that once dotted the rural landscape. Increasingly though, landowners are investing time and money in hopes of saving the iconic structures.

This country has lost so many family farms and the legacy that they have. It's good to see these icons of our nations past being preserved. I don't think a factory farm will ever be remembered in the way a family farm is. It's sad that these barns are not a part of the daily life of so many farmers as they once were. I love to see these barns in the rural areas of the country and wish we had more of them in southern Oklahoma. Thanks.
