Seacrest paused like that for a second on purpose to further the suspense because both were named David. Had it been between David Cook and Syeesha, Seacrest would have said David Cook in one breath.

You know the vote difference was 12 million that season. Niegel told both Davids that prior to the finale but that's all he said but how come we don't know what the vote difference was between Kris Allen & Adam Lambert. It was reported that it wasn't even close but I found it funny that A.I. never said what it was. Since they pimped Adam so much, I bet they were embarassed that Kris won by huge margin. Ryan Seacrest said he knew ahead of time that Kris won and I have to wonder how come he knew.

WTF r u talking about? David Cook is awesome he won cause he is the best u have no idea what u r talking about? He totally won fairly. Do you remember what Simon said after Cooks Eleanor Rigby performance Simon said "If this show remains a talent competition rather then a popularity competition u could actually win this whole contest." prof right there that he won cause if his talent and nothing else. Dont get me wrong I love Archie lots but Cook is the real winner 2 me and ever1 else.
