"Some of These Days" was composed by Shelton Brooks in 1911 for the stage musical "Last of the Red Hot Mamas" starring the legendary Sophie Tucker who recorded the song that year, and it became the signature song of her career. Darin reprised the tune in a live performance he gave at the Copacabana during June 15-16, 1960.
