what is the cost to get your license? and after, will you still need to buy your own equipment? and how much does it cost to do solo skydives after you have your license?

@ericinghammontevista -- I am not sure on the cost....but I think that you can rent the gear for around $20 and the air lift fee used to be around $45 3 years before......If you just take AFF certification then you should be able to do solo jump anywhere in US atleast....

damn how many line twists did you have from that spin on deployment? how hard did you crash from the early flare?

m actually not sure how many....but there were quite a few....probably i lost my stability while waving....after 5-10 to &fro motion of my feet, the line twists went off....and yeah the crash was minimal....no scratches or pain....had already experienced that in my previous jumps and hence was prepared well:-))

Thanks. No, I haven't made any jumps after this. Actually I wanted to jump alone and hence had to go through the mandatory certification:-)
