This is great. Why are we playing with words and not calling them what they are...the Mob! When you speak about violence and free markets all these guys are thinking about is their pensions. They collect (Not earn) money collected at the point of a gun.

Thank you! If we use these descriptors such as mob and gang, even if accurate, we are not likely to get any form of productive dialogue. If writing an article about the government, sure, but when face to face their defenses would go up and communication would go down. We were wanting people to focus on the arguments which question their authority.

Wow...you broke the bombshell that the DMV is basically a mess? Kudos. Im sure you're Pulitzer is on it's way. Your flair for stating the obvious is indeed impressive...as well as bandying about the everpopular "violence" catch-all anytime a cop shows up...you're really breaking new ground there. Every uniformed officer i saw speak to you on this video showed you nothing but courtesy and respect...which you repaid by branding them, essentially, mindless thugs. If you're claiming they use "violence," then why didn't you show them laying a beat down on you? Looked pretty civil to me. Oh, and your points of violence and corruption were well demonstrated in your 6 minute video about cameras. Good work. And I thought San Diego was supposed to have more reasonable citizens than other cities in CA.

I'm almost with you on this, Wes. One question, based on how far I've come with your concepts: Aren't we participating - paying in - to keep things like roads, signs, traffic lights available? My $175 DC registration also pays for a check to make sure others cars aren't constant polluters (which are then removed from the road) based on our shared priority of keeping the bay clean. I'm interested in where I might be mistaken, since I'm beginning to glimpse your total concept.

Don't forget, the DMV can fine you if you DO NOT have insurance BUT, others are welcome to pay them flat outright cash to be given permission to drive without insurance under the "uninsured motorist fee" program and they will turn a blind eye to the rule ensures the financial and medical safety of you and your family.
