Jon and the Nightriders perform "Rumble at Waikiki" in San Bernardino at the Inland Empire Musician's Reunion. John Blair (guitar), Dave Wronski (guitar), Dusty Watson (drums), Greg Eckler (drums), Jeff Nicholson (bass).

This clips features Greg on drums, Dusty Watson is the original drummer and performed that day on subsequent numbers. Introduction by Mike Stax, publisher of "Ugly Things" magazine. After 30 years apart and with no rehearsal, dig it.

  • For clarification, Dusty Watson is the original drummer. Greg Eckler joined later and is featured on this particular clip. Dusty played on subsequent clips and those will be released at a future date.

  • Surf guitar at its best !!!

  • Yeah, this is damn good.

  • Ho-LEE CRIPES!!!! I used to go see Jon & The Nightriders all the time back in San Bernardino & Riverside back in the 80's. They could tear the nails right out of the stage, incredible to see & hear them again. Last time I saw them was at the Ash Grove, on E Street I think, which ironically (considering the name) later burned down. I moved away from SoCal in the mid-90'sand would have given anything to see this. Whereabouts In San Berdoo did the above take place? Not the Orange Show I see.

  • BOSS!

  • High class.

  • Wow - totally authentic! These guys are playing great. Hey, I think I remember the name Dave Wronski - I was playing in Riverside from 1974 - 78 at the Mission Inn and other places...boy does seeing this played in San Berdoo bring back some memories.
