This is an original parody framed in a BMW television ad that features a 1960s-era BMW Isetta 300.

The BMW in the ad was owned by the father of the Isetta driver in the video in the late 1960s, sold in the early 1970s, and repurchased and restored by the driver/son in the late 1990s.

The ladder fire truck (technically, a quint) is one of a handful of 1984 Grumman AerialCats in the United States. Special thanks goes out to the Jamestown Fire Department, Jamestown, ND, for use of the fire truck.

  • I know how you might "see" a Mitsubishi logo. The video compression messed with the blue hood logo and with the Isetta nameplate below it, it does look like silver triangles. The Isetta is definitely a BMW.

  • You have to look in the antique and collector automobile (or motorcycle) market.

  • Excellent video ... Good job !

  • Thanks. It was a lot of fun to put together.
