@DTOParkour It would at least get people to realize you aren't choosing one word over the other and start an argument, and for a maxed out comment, depending on how much you used the word Parkour, then, yeah, it could be efficient :)

Nobody can really make up any new moves at this point... they have almost all been done... and btw, this is a cartwheel, not a vault

Names aren't important. People say Parkour, people say Free Running. I'd say that Parkour (I used the shortest word for the sake of convenience,) reflects a life, and people have different lives. Not everyone's movement will be the same, and putting the "efficient" demand limits Pk's true potential. I think most people agree that everyone's moves for a different reason, and even if you are only being "efficient" styles emerge anyways. You just can't fight expression for that long.

@woomoo44 the point of Parkour is not about doing "moves" Parkour is about speed and Efficiency, its about being strong to be useful, no tricks. Free running is about creativity and expressing yourself, you dont need to come up with new moves, u just got to use ur moves in different ways, create your own style, develop your own movement. Move with your soul. Express yourself through your movement XD

@PurpleParkour Believe it or not, it is a vault as you get over an obstacle using pressure on your hands, which makes it a vault.

@PurpleParkour With all due respect I disagree, the definition of vault is:

A movement through, under or over an obstical to allow continuation of a movement.

Now this person was clearly going over an obstical which was then followed by the same movement he was using whilst he was approaching the obsticle.

therefore this person has accomplished a 'vault.'

That is not efficient in any way to get over the wall. Not Parkour! It's a fun freestyle move! This does not have a name!
