I am glad to be Native American!

I read the book From Where the Sun Now Stands I Will Fight No More Forever many years ago. It detailed Joseph's run across seven states to save his people from the US army and confinement to a reservation. Joseph was and is the picture of honor, courage and commitment that we rarely see today.

I pray for all my brothers and sisters on the reservations that thier life will be better but nothing will come of asking the Goverment , They still want all Indians gone from this land. but they can never erase the Indian 80 million to 800 thousand greatest genocide in history but we are still here and here we will remain. Chief Joseph will live forever in our hearts.

I have never heard wisdom until I learned what words were said from the native American chiefs. My spirit agrees. And my spirit has a place that it came from and is not alone any more.
