A bit of Nez Perce history. Chief Joseph was and still is the greatest American that ever lived. He fought for his people up until his death in 1904

  • I am glad to be Native American!

  • I read the book From Where the Sun Now Stands I Will Fight No More Forever many years ago. It detailed Joseph's run across seven states to save his people from the US army and confinement to a reservation. Joseph was and is the picture of honor, courage and commitment that we rarely see today.

  • I have never heard wisdom until I learned what words were said from the native American chiefs. My spirit agrees. And my spirit has a place that it came from and is not alone any more.
