Quote from the site on why they had to set it up like they did:
"We will not be forming a PAC (Political Action Committee) as discussed originally. Under a PAC donations to the blimp would count towards donations to the official campaign. For example, if a person contributed $100 towards the PAC then they would only be able to contribute $2,200 of the $2,300 maximum to the official campaign. Forming a PAC would also be a FEC legal nightmare due to regulations and restrictions."

Tires are OK, tho....just air. Cars stay on the ground. ;-) No doubt RP supporters could care less that they're promoting use of this diminishing resource for frivilous reasons.

I used to know a guy who worked on the Goodyear blimps. They use more helium than anyone. sheesh. let's save america with some helium. no doubt the tires will still be sold, too.

Reality Check - a really really HUGE number of people are behind him, and we are passionate about what we see as a solution to disturbing trends in America. Did it ever occur to you that maybe the reason he wins straw polls, online polls, raises big money, and gets so many Diggs and votes is because he's wildly popular?
