How long is that pole?
-
@figter0223 Check the specs, usually says it in the manual

Do you not find that particular pole to be quite heavy? I saw this one at the hardware store and it seems quite heavy with the medal insert that extends out. I found another one that is much light but goes out only 8 feet.

Ok Mike! I must say your version was great, and I now have a boom pole for my videomic! Just one issue, it's hollow! I couldnt find one boom pole that was both medal, and hollow! I know you said it isnt suggested, so my question is where did you get yours from, and before you purchased how were you sure. The rep and I both did a check and it didnt sound hollow, but once the screw was in, we realized it wasnt!

So if I just get the Rode Videomic it will just attach on to the boom-pole, or do I need an adapter for it?

@alexzracer2008 if you follow the design as i explain it then no you do not need an adapter since the videomic already comes with a 3/8 adapter on it.
