These videos were taken between May 24 and May 30, 2005 from the top of Big Drop Two (Rapid 22). During this time, the river's flow ranged from 55,000 to 69,000 cfs.

That is a "J-Rig" the most unique and best performing motorized craft on big water. They are a design of Western River Expeditions, the best rafting vacations in the west! Most other motorized rigs ("S-Rigs") have a frame going the length of the boat that stiffens the ride and punches through the waves rather than riding them with the flex you see in this video.
It is large, mass transit, but not everyone is ready for the dangers of solo kayaking!
