Recent past permanent President of the Canadian Council of Chief Executives (CCCE) Thomas P. D'Aquino, in a video sponsored by the federal government of Canada, Foreign Affairs and International Trade Canada, nonchalantly declares that "this FEDERAL-PROVINCIAL structure that we have" (he means "the Constitution of Canada") cannot be allowed to stand in the way of policy-making progress, and direct foreign corporate investment in Canada.

In a 4 October 2009 interview in The Metropolitan Corporate Counsel, D'Aquino -- who enjoys being referred to as "Canada's unelected Prime Minister" (though no doubt most Canadians have never heard of him) -- claims credit for the IDEA of creating a North American Union, as a direct response to security threats and impediments to continental trade following 9/11. Here's that interview:

According to d'Aquino, the SPP was his idea; and the CCCE, under D'Aquino, quickly produced its "Building A North American Community" plan, accompanied in tandem by a Model Parliament for North America being organized by the North American Forum on Integration (NAFI) out of offices in Montreal, and inaugurated in 2005 in the Senate of Canada. The Model Parliament takes for granted that not the existing NATIONS of North America -- Canada, USA and Mexico -- are to meet in a future continental parliament, but the individual states and provinces. This reflects the fact that it is ASSUMED that the constitutions and nations of Canada, USA and Mexico will be gone by the time they impose the full-fledged continental parliament.

It is therefore very interesting to note that 9/11 is the "provocative agent" for creating the SPP and North American Union based apparently on dismantled states and provinces of North America, as indicated by practice in the Model Parliament; and that here in this video clip is Mr. D'Aquino pointing out the TRADE benefits that stand to be gained -- by necessary implication -- from dismantling Canada's Constitution, its "federal-provincial structure".

If the "security" pretexts for 9/11 are removed from the CFR-CCCE's "Building A North American Community" plan to merge North America, all that remains as a motive is trade. Nevertheless, Canada's so-called federal government is proceeding to annex this country to the USA and Mexico on the basis of 9/11, and with no independent inquiry in this country as to the validity of 9/11 as the act of outside terrorists.

It's interesting to view this clip of Aquino together with my new clip of Allan Gotlieb flatly declaring that 9/11 was the "provocative agent" behind the "idea" to form the NAU - the North American Union.
