Thomas is based on a BR EM2 Tank Engine so using the sounds from the scrapped locomotive should match thomas or you could use the sounds from the TV Show

I was installing DCC decoder into Bachmann Thomas HO.
and the PCB board on cabin loof has several surface mount resistors,
and the motor has a capacitor soldered across + - tabs.
are these necessary? or can they be removed without any consequence?
thank you for your answer in advance.

Is there enough room to add a smoke system inside, even with the DCC system installed? And oh, what DCC system is this compatible with, anyone know? I want to re-create parts of the layout from the show in HO.

@Kooberz No room for smoke generator. I'm installing TCS decoder it is compatible with any DCC system.
