This collection of Red Light Runners was compiled in Logan, Utah at 1400 N & Main street. The traffic was video taped heading from Eastbound to Southbound in the turning lane. I want to thank everyone who stopped and asked questions about what I was doing as well as encouraging me to continue. Although there were a few drivers who were less than friendly I just chaulk those individuals as obvious Red Light Runners who were upset that they got caught breaking the law and endangering others. I also would like to thank the two police officers who gave me good advice on how to go about it so I dont get into trouble with the law or disrupt local businesses. A side note: I am doing this because after several near misses with Red Light Runners I felt as a citizen to confront the problem head-on in a non-violent way. My wish is that this youtube channel closes down and I never have to post on here again, but I think that people will continue to break the law and endanger others by running red lights. If you live in Logan Utah and have an intersection (with Red Light Runner problems) that you would like to see featured on here please let me know. again thank you and I hope to never see you on my channel as a Red Light Runner.

  • UPDATE: I will be recording myself at the same time I record Red Light Runners to cover myself as to my conduct on the public location, two seperate camera's running at the same time from different angles. That way I can attest to my positive conduct and intentions for public safety. Hope this helps those that are worried about my conduct on the location in future posted recordings. The video's will be picture-in-picture on the next postings.

  • An estimated 165,000 people are injured annually by red-light runners.

  • My advice is if you are going to keep doing this, do it in a place not so close to traffic, or where you could put yourself or others in harms way. Maybe off to the side of the 7-11, using the zoom feature on your camcorder.

  • @wyckedguitarist I am doing nothing more than what U see other sign carrying people doing such as the furniture store, liberty taxes, or little cesars & their actually twirling their signs & dancing which i find way more distracting than being on the corner with a camcorder & a sign, (like I said my movement will b minimal) & if I can get people to slow down a& take notice (safely) then that means they wont B speeding through the intersection. Thank you 4 your comments & being nice about it.

  • When I was sitting at this intersection going south bound and saw the author yelling at the vans you see at 0:12 I was going to come here and make fun, but I decided that I would rather give him some friendly advice.

I know your just is cause, and I'm certainly not against it, but in reality, you are also putting people more at risk of accidents by your intent. Please read next comment as these don't allow a lot of room

  • @wyckedguitarist I knew that person in the van, he is my cousin and he gave me the finger so I picked on him, we laughed about it later. Bad judgement ? at the time we thought it was funny but hinde site I see how that could look bad. a couple of my friends drove by and ran it intentally to give me a hard time as they knew i was filming there, I didnt think that part was funny and I gave them crap about it after i was done filming.

  • @wyckedguitarist I was confronted by the police as i was wrapping up filming & they agreed that I should first ask permission by the property owner ( I thought I was on public property) & that I have every legal right 2 b there filming since my camera a& sign R considered non threatening. This is a learning process 4 me so I'm working it out. I wont B changing 2 much as I still want people 2 know why they R being filmed, its no worse than reading a garage sale sign on a telephone pole.

  • @wyckedguitarist I have already adjusted my area and ways of doing things to better protect myself and my son, he wont be with me next time, he wanted to see what it was all about. The time you were talking about was only 1% of the time after that I was sitting on the curb with no movement as I realized it wasnt safe and I dont want myself or others to be hurt since Im trying to prevent that in the first place.

  • 2) I don't think the pointing and yelling at the drivers is a very good idea either. As I was watching you were getting pretty close to them. Now if one of those drivers happens to scare easy, they could drive right into the car turning next to them, or on the sidewalk. You also run the risk of pissing off the wrong person, and they pull over and have a confrontation with you. Do you want to put yourself in that spot, or your son who was sitting with you?

  • 1) If you have lived in Utah your whole live you know that Utah residents are HORRIBLE drivers and love to "Rubber-Neck". I can't tell you how many times I've been stuck on I-15 for more than 30 mins. for an accident on the OTHER side of the highway. 80% of the people I saw going West bound did this across the entire intersection trying to see what you were up to with the sign and camera. thats 1 - 3 seconds of people not paying attention. They could easily vere off and sideswipe another vehicle
