I think skiing on a halfpipe seems a lot more difficult then it is on a snowboard, i mean it has to me so much more technical to appear to look that pleasing to the eye.

I've done snowboarding and skiing, but at this point I can probably take on far steeper and rougher terrain on my skis. However, I've never run into any jerks on either side of the spectrum (Except for those wanna'be Bode Miller kids with helmets, and no poles, who run like a straight bullet down the slope, and smash carefree into other people). Sometimes my friend would be carving up the halfpipe on his board, and I'd just tear up the runs on my skis. I've always rolled with a mixed crowd.
