The german hyperinflation was caused by the printing of more money. Germany had to pay back reprationhs for the damage they had cause during the war. So they printed more and more money. But, since the german's were printing so much money it lost its value and therefore prices of goods and services rose dramatically. Eventually Gustav Stresemann became chancellor and introduced a new currency which had more value than the original Mark. Germany entered the "Golden Years"....

@pepintheshort100 How in the hell do you possibly know what the people want if they don't have free and open elections, freedom of speech, press and assembly?
Do you have an ability to read people's minds?
We would rather go bankrupt than hand the world over to the likes Taliban, Sadaam Husseins, and North Koreas or Castros.
What are you so afraid of? Why are you people so deathly afraid of free and open elections? are you afraid to hear the people speak at the ballot box? Why????

@pepintheshort100 Afganistan attacked the WTC by harboring Al Qaeda.
Sadaam INDIRECTLY caused the WTC attack by forcing the USA to station troops in Saudi Arabia and OBL stated in his Fatwah that he attacked the WTC because of the US troops stationed in Saudi Arabia.
The Arabs attacked Israel 3 times in 48, 67, and 73...
The USA is planting seeds of democracy in an autocratic corruption riddled desert.

I found some of those billion mark stamps while exploring my parents room drawers. I thought we were RICH, until my father explained what really happened that was a bummer.
