@TheSidewalkCipher "Habit of carrying the stone" means that one has to carry the burden of others. "Place you can call your own" The line before says that there is a person who calls himself independent, yet has other people being dependent on him defeating the purpose.
A "Manswarm Atom" describes the medeocrity of the men and how common they are (atoms are everywhere)

thank you. i've been listening to bad religion since 1989, and that is the best break down i've ever heard. i thought i was savy and smart because i learned misanthropic from them. you, sir, deserve a bow. my hat off to you.

Everybody is looking, but they never can see.
I've always thought that was one of their deepest lines. Given that its Bad Religion, that is saying a while lot.

One of my favorite Bad Religion songs...

"You're a sidewalk cipher speaking prionic jive"
amazing.
cipher= a person or thing of no importance
prion= "A disease-causing agent that is neither bacterial nor fungal nor viral and contains no genetic material. A prion is a protein that occurs normally in a harmless form. By folding into an aberrant shape, the normal prion turns into a rogue agent. It then coopts other normal prions to become rogue prions."
Jive= to talk/mislead
awesome.
