Kitten kneading and suckling blanket

This is my 6 month old kitty and his habbit, I like to call Blanky luvinz.. Ever since the habbit was discovered I gave him the blanket (he can keep that FEL D 1 disaster). Now he does it before falling into a deep restful sleep.

Mmm, don't want to be a downer...but that's not necessarly a good thing. I hope he has grown out of it. If not it means he was taken away too early.

@starysky17 yes he has grown out of it. THIS Behavior lasted about 6-7 mnths from the shelter.

@vampy181 Some cats do it because its like a self-comfort thing, such as thumb sucking if you're a human, some do it because they were weaned too early. I found my cat abandoned in an alley when he was very tiny and he does this all the time and he's about six years old. :)
