The guy is unique, the criticism isn't warranted in my opinion. Even now his performances are still better than most of the rubbish out.

I really worship him, but he is demolishing himself more and more with such performances... BUT there are 2 points:
1. He is working his ass off - every show, every song!
2. He still sings the songs in the original key (even Freddie performed eg Somebody To Love in G instead of A flat...)!

I think it's cool that the guitarists are both able to take solos and one isn't delegated to play only rhythm and be in the shadow of the other. Without a doubt, one of the best, most consistent backing bands in rock music ever.
