  • Genuinely, Frank Turner is probably the best lyricist of recent times. I suggest anybody that hasn't seen him live before go and see him asap... he's passionate and you can see that he means every single word he's singing. The loyal army of fans that he's got make a gig a fantastic place to be, every single fucking person sings along... going to his gigs renews my faith in humanity a bit. Fucking sad? Yes, but true. This dude brings tears to my eyes.

  • this is my definite favourite FT song. just sends shivers down my spine when it reaches it's crescendo. the vocals are understadedly tough to sing i'm sure, there's some mad guitar skills and the lyrics are so powerful. absolutley awesome performance!!!

  • I find the 3 hand claps at the end so beautifully ironic at such talent and outpouring...

  • @Rascalized "Renews my faith in humanity" i love that. its a perfect way to describe his songs. <3

  • I love how he gets so intense, so outragously emotional, then ends it with, "And there you go."

  • @ih8music But I just love to listen to his voice, and his accent if you get me.

  • @ih8music I couldn't agree more, I'm glad you've changed my mind about that actually!

  • @amywadsworthX but the shouting makes this song not just good or great, but phenomenal. the passion and pain jumps out and slaps you in the face. the lyrics would not have nearly as much impact if he just sang them like the rest of the song.

  • This is such a beautiful performance, but I dislike it when he shouts. He is an amazing singer and an excellent songwriter, I don't understand why people don't just respect him, how can you critisize something like this?! Regardless of wether some like this music or not, they must have the decency to respect it? I complain about people like Rihanna who don't even write their own music, but I still respect that some people like her. Some just have such narrow minds, those people are called cunts.

  • yes.

  • i am horribly, undeniably and irrevocably in love with this man. Frank Turner- one day you will be mine.
