Bush revisionist Ari Fleischer battles Chris Matthews

Attempts to salvage a legacy for President Bush accelerate as Ari Fleischer takes to the airwaves and battles MSNBC Hardball host Chris Matthews. Fleischer believes that President Obama should thank former President Bush for presenting Obama with a Saddam Hussein-free world. Never mind the carnage and a Middle East void filled by Iran, Fleischer seemingly has little problem that the Osama bin Laden, the true 9/11 culprit, roams free to plot at will against America. America hasnt been attacked since, but Bush should not be blamed for the terrorist attach on September 11. As for the world economic crisis, sure its a problem, but since President Clinton left a recession for Bush, then a little depression must be okay, too. Olbermann sums up his clips of the Ari Fleischer and Chris Matthews interview with a wow and he (Ari Fleischer) must be stoned. Jonathan Alter adds commentary. Bush left DOW = 8000 Obama now DOW = 12000. The Bush Depression averted. Auto companies saved. Job creation turned positive. That might have been the weakest counter arguement i've ever seen. People usually debate by providing facts. He provided a (decent) fact that Mr. Fleischer acknowledged and argued beforehand. Without providing... something new to the table, I really just sat here and witnessed mr Olberman go on yet a rant which is like most of his programming.
