Leonard Solomon is a very good friend and fellow performer of mine for decades. Leonard is an accomplished and highly skilled juggler, musician, inventor as well as a published author. His beloved musical instrument, The Majestic Bellowphone, has entertained and marvelled countless audiences of all ages around the world. Solomon majored in guitar and early music at Antioch College, and later went on to perform in rock bands and was a featured performer in several nationally brodcast television appearances. Leonard's unique charm, wit, humor, and vaudevillian eccentricity has taken him to places as far as Singapore, Japan, and many other locations. The Bellowphone show has been a fixture throughout New England for decades, and has been presented on numerous stages, in schools, clubs, festivals, and of course the streets of Boston and Cambridge, Massachusetts. Leonard's book, "Papa, Did We Break It? - Sketches From A Street Performer's Journal" is a delightful anthology depicting some of the personal adventures and stories of his life from childhood, to becoming a reknowned performer, through the joys and sorrows of fatherhood, and so much more. For me, it has been both a pleasure and an honor to know and have worked with Leonard throughout many years. I always look foward to catching up on his latest conquests and shenanigans. Leonard Solomon is truly a unique artist and humble human being. I am proud to say that I know him. Thanks for the juggling, music, fun, jokes, and everything else, Len. I love you.

It's good to see that Len and the Bellowphone are still performing in Harvard Square. I performed there 20 years ago, but now I'm off to other venues with non-musical acts, and Len's still there. That's a lot of tenacity, and some degree of Bellophone repair, too, I'm sure.
And that's not just any bellowphone, either. that's the Majestic Bellowphone. But don't worry. You don't have to be "Your Majesty" or some other kind of royalty or anything to enjoy it. Its music is for everyone.

Lenny is so original. And how nice that Harvard Square is finally quiet enough for his brilliant subtleties.
Thanks for preserving this, brontis !!
