agree with brentside. slopes of BC are empty during the week and many weekends. Peps cannot afford to ski anymore. Industry has priced itself out of the average budget and is killing the sport for locals.

Good snow! Plans for expansion are a big joke. I'm pretty sure the current operators don't want to touch the waterfall area these guys were sessioning cause that would mean diligent avy control, which they have zero experience. Wanna-be developers think if they build condos while jacking up lift passes, acting like other big corpo jerk-offs to boot, will bring the armada of richie riches... Too bad they never got the field of dreams concept "if you build it" (more lifts and larger access to gr

Smither's is fantastic. Small town, but beautiful. Great people there and a cool positive atmosphere. Where sometimes in the city people flip out and curse at you for accidentally almost crashing your car into them, in Smithers people laugh and wave. I've thought about moving up there.. And I might for a lil bit. It's a sweet beautiful place to check out. And seeing how awesome the snowboarding lands are amps me up a great deal to def go check it out again. Cept I'll be bringing my board for sur
