Our story centers around Bristle and Fritz, a prickly pair of inseparable cactus cut ups and their eclectic desert friends. Our guys live out in the baking hot west in a souvenir shop off a lone desert highway called Aunt Jean's Desert Emporium. The emporium is a rest stop for the weary traveler, a place to get a piece of pie,
a cup of coffee and freshen up. If you're lucky, you'll get a glimpse of a two headed snake or even a jackalope who appears twice daily three times on Sunday. Which brings us to the heart of our story.
In this desert oasis lives a menagerie of interesting characters like two polite stinkbugs, a nervous armadillo, a big nose cat, a mysterious Jackalope named "Steve", a blob named "Gunk" that lives under the fridge and a posse of pollen crazed fat bees not to mention CACTI of all shapes and sizes. Miss Jean, the proprietor of the emporium, is a holdover from the Sixties music scene. Besides catering to the tourist trade, her next favorite things are jamming on her Les Paul guitar and tending to her Succulent Garden.
