  • No one has blocked the creativity, I posess just as much intelligence as the next person.....the problem is in IMPLIMENTING that creativity. Do more research, then maybe you will understand how WE SUFFER!

  • I have ADHD, I have depression and I have anxiety.

  • ADD, depression, anxiety, checking in.

  • wow, just read a couple of these comments below about "normal;ity" and "maturational processes"are you kidding me!!!!there is no normality if you are in fact affected by add/adhd/--and co-morbib, how could someone not see that say anxiety, ocd, depression COULD become huge players in the add/adhd/mind/function/emotional processes. I hear ya nighthawk2k9,,this has absolutely ZERO of what your intelligence actually is, its 100 percent of implemetation, thought processes, ultimately coping strategies.

  • absolutely,I'm the 44 year old guy recently diagnosed adhd ,I would say at 25-30 yrs old dystymia(major depressive -like symptoms yet spiking at times of utter frustration, feeling aggressive,etc--more of an end result of this situation,,,,and yes anxiety to extremes also,,a ball of confusion,,and sooooo many triggers..

  • AMEN!

  • I, for the life of me, DO NOT understand the comorbidity argument. Didn't Alexander Crichton himself leave the possibility of an INORGANIC cause open for what was back then known as "fidgets" in his "mental restlessness" research? And I believe Drs. Laufer, Denhoff and Solomons remarked that "This situation is in time overcome by the operation of NORMAL MATURATIONAL PROCESSES (emphasis mine)," meaning the dysfunction to the diencephalon would sharply decline with age!

  • Why do people with ADHD live a difficult life?? why is the social and educational systems are in such a way that those who can parrot out the pre learnt memory and arguments stuff are promoted to higher levels? Who formulated the standards of normality? True intelligence is found in producing something new and that's called creativity... In an environment where the true essence of creativity is supressed (deep imagination) ... What is there for Acceptance?? Who has blocked the creativity??
