Donkey Kong Jungle Beat - Star Fruit Kingdom

Truthfully, for the last Kingdom in the game, I'm a little disappointed at what they had to offer. =/

1.) Ninjape Rally
Yep, it's another damn race. But this one is actually fun since they mix up all the obstacles that you'll need to get past in order to win, unlike the previous ones where you're just riding a Helibird or swimming. You'll have to use Helibirds, swim, run and all sorts of other things in order to wind up on top in this race. That being said, this is a relatively easy race to win as long as you keep up a steady pace and don't slow down for anything. Also, the Ninja from Ask A Ninja would be disappointed to see creatures of such prestige and ability fall before an ape wearing a tie.

2.) Asteroid Belt
This level is grand, but I'm not really fond of it. It's big and there are a lot of areas to get through before you reach the end, but it's a bit too tedious to really enjoy it. There aren't many beats and you have be clever in order to hit 1200 by the end of the level. Getting the 500 from first place in Ninjape rally is incredibly helpful. Aside from those few comments, I'll let the level speak for itself (because it's a little difficult to put into words. =P)

3.) Boss - Sumo Kong
So. Anti. Climactic. Don't get me wrong; I think the atmosphere (no pun intended) is an incredible location to fight a boss. But the boss itself isn't that great to me.
Sumo Kong is different from the previous Kong fights as it doesn't dodge, and with his bulk, it's unnecessary. It won't flinch until you successfully learn the way to stun it and start wailing. The trick is to parry one of his attacks, dodge when he attacks and then strike. You'll see that I had some trouble here because the pattern is unusual to me.
Another thing that I haven't tested is if Sumo Kong is vulnerable to Super Counter Attacks. I don't think he is, but I'll have to try it out some other time.

I still wonder, wtf is that weird robotic voice when you fight Sumo Kong lol. It always kinda freaked me out since it's so random.
