  • FDR guided America through it's worst economic crisis and six of the most horrific years in human history (WWII, obviously). In doing so, he ensured that America would become the richest, most powerful nation in the world once the war ended. I don't see how any president can rank higher than Franklin D. Roosevelt.

  • @swallla97 o.o reagan contradicts the policies of other 2 presidents you listed

  • Frank was not a hero, said an American historian, George Nash in his book, BETRAYED FREEDOM.

Hoover revealed that Frank got an intelligence information that Japan was planning an attack over Hawaii, but Frank did not alert the info to the peope in Hawaii. Rather Frank made use of the info to control the feeling with Americans. Hoover criticized Frank, according to the book.

  • for me it goes

    1. Reagan

    2. FDR

    3. Lincoln

  • golddigger.... very hard to disagree.. I would say Lincoln first and then FDR... but it like picking from apples and oranges between the two.

  • @Silicondoc Our current WH occupant is perhaps the most fiscally irresponsible American president ever. His "solution" to every problem is to throw precious taxpayer funds at it while claiming his embarrassing VP is "watching the allocation of funds like a hawk." It makes you want to rip your hair out! The Obama administration has NO credibility on fiscal responsibility. They allow over $500 million to be flushed down Solyndra's toilet, DOJ jerks to buy $16 muffins and say nothing. Waste & fraud

  • @redletter2008 Unfortunately we are going to reap the sad results of FDR policies again in very short order. Our government, and many governments of the world are completely out of control with overspending as they hand away our posterity to private central bank profiteers. This callousness in monetary policy has infected entire populaces, ours with the Fannie and Freddie home loan balloon reassessment ( property taxes for government !). FDR policies have finally made every one a criminal.

  • @Silicondoc I understand the decision to limit Presidents to two terms. It must have seemed like FDR would never go away. Still, I think that when all is considered, we should be able to elect Presidents to three terms. I think that had they been Constitutionally allowed to, both Reagan and Clinton could have won 3rd terms (though likely by smaller margins than their prior wins). Our current President is a poster-child for the "one-term Presidency!" It's time America dusted off that tradition.

  • @flirtwd

Oh and the bubble created by that loser Bush W was never suppose to be. 5 million minorities in homes? Really?

Had anyone seen the statistics outlining what black and latins had financially compared to whites when bush made that dumb as speech? We didn't have the economic ability to pull it off!!! 5 million homes!!!

That was a cluster fuck of monumental proportions.

Now you want what was to be when what was should have never been.

    Drop dead motherfucker!!!

  • @Silicondoc

Go fuck yourself. Obama wouldn't have had to do the things he did if you right wing faggots didn't help ship the jobs over seas and destroy the middle class. FDR would throw up if he saw what happened to his country today. Where is America's powerful industrial revolution? In China!? What happened to the middle class? Destroyed by the top 2%. What's up with this ten year war? Oh it has cost 4 trillion dollars and all the money went into the hands of the rich. Pathetic!!
