David interviews Tomas in Saipiña, Santa Cruz while he cooks with the rocket stove. Tomas states that the oven is much more efficient than traditional gas stoves. He thinks that the rocket stove is faster, produces less contamination, and has many uses in his home. His wife, Gabriela, says the only time they use the gas stove is in the morning to boil water for tea. Overall, the rocket stove is much more prefered.
