Transportation is childs play at the fair

Kids will have a blast doing all the free activities in the Dakota County Government Building at the county fair.

Bring the youngsters to ride plasma cars through our obstacle course, drive toys cars on a huge map of Dakota County or manage their own construction project in the sandbox.

The countys biggest trucks will be on display, so you can get up close to a motor grader, front-end loader, tandem water truck and more. Kids can even jump inside the cab of a snow plow to see how it works.

The Dakota County Government Building is open 10 a.m.7 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday. To see everything available at the fair, check out the Dakota County Fair Web site.
