non è molto jazz.....

that was jazz... fusion jazz but jazz nonetheless. seriously, if you guys can't interpret the scales and the riffs he's playing then you shouldn't be bashing on his ability to play.
Cause most of the time, jazz fusion DOES sound like that. Look up Mike Stern and his song "Chromazone". It sounds as if its wildly out of place, and free-form and very offbeat, but that's how it is- just another complexion of rhythms and use of accidentals and syncopation

@ledzeppelin4485 Not even fusion either. He doesn't sound like John mclaughlin that's for sure.

@4578a more like fusion

ha this place goes dead quiet

@4578a this clearly isn't a jazz fest duh
@jman289 Well it says "Jazz jam" there. So someone is trying to fool you into thinking this is jazz.

Pretty clearly using the diminished scale during one of the solo breaks. Sounds like Dixie Dregs, which is jazz fusion. Has anyone mentioned that the one and only KEITH CARLOCK is on the kit? Now that is a badass drummer
