One thing that's very evident in this interview is just how much Webb obviously lives and breathes what he does.
Does anyone know if he gigs over in the UK at all?

I think what he meant was that the song wasn't so good that it would supplant the song, White Christmas, from it's position as the most beloved Christmas song.
