@Mjd114 Actually the 1992 event held at Princess Lanes [Pittsburgh] was won by Carol Norman. Twas the first time she won a title from the opening match. Carol Gianotti was top seeded but lost to Ms. Norman in the championship match. Kim Berke met Carol Norman in the first match and shot a solid game of 205 but it wasn't enough to defeat a seasoned veteran in Ms. Norman!

Yes she did....if im not mistaken cheryl was top seed the year before and lost...two years in a row second place finishes!

@Mjd114 I remember Marianne's first show, the 1992 Denver Open. She ran into a hot Carol Gianotti who ended up beating her, Leanne Barrette in the semi final and Cindy Coburn-Carroll to win her third title within the fall swing and her 4th title for 1992! Marianne would seek redemption in Pittsburgh winning her first title from the 5th seed. If memory serves me right, Marianne defeated Cheryl Daniels in the championship match, didn't she?

This was Marianne's second show.....If im not mistaken the next week she mad the telecast

at princess lanes and Won from the #5 position....Wish i still had that show :(
