@ksroebke Thats why the game is played and watched, for big hits like that. There was nothing illegal about the hit. Have you ever heard the saying 'keep your head on a swivel'?

@weathermanfsu a thug that plays dirty? dude im white..not black..and im an offensive lineman..so i dont make de-cleating blocks.im in the trenches the whole game..so quit with the stereo typin..all im saying is that you never know when the ball carrier is gonna cut back and the guy that got killed would have been right behind him to make the tackle..its not like he was 50 yards away from the ball

@orangeandwhite65 I am not trying anything. It is called a rule in the rule book. Do not like it, then go after the people that make the rules. You can not even make a hit on a player like this (player obviously away from the play) in the NFL, so get over it. You do not like it most likely because you are a thug that plays dirty,

@weathermanfsu its called playing till the whistle is blown..im a player,..and its refs like you who piss me off..if its not a block in the back then its legal..stop trying to overprotect people..its FOOTBALL..those kind of hits are going to happen and if players dont like it then they can turn their stuff in

@ksroebke im a football player..and players are taught to play till the whistle blows..and thats exactly what he was doing.the play was still going on and he was just doing what coaches tell us

I don't think it should have been a penalty. If the play is still going on you can still get blocked. That's how it works.

This is not even a block in the back penalty. The hit was not that dirty, it was just a hit that was not necessary. They called a personal foul for unnecessary roughness because the person he hit was out of the play and there was no reason to block him. THIS WAS A GREAT CALL!!
