How do you get the audio, since regular PC's don't have the Red/White audio cables?

I also have this moniter and am trying to use my ps3 with it. I am using an hdmi to dvi converter to plug it into the moniter, and i can see the ps3 menue but its really staticy and the screen flashes a lot. If you know what the problem is please let me know.
