Thats true...but it doesn't mean they can't hit a 40mph ball out of the park!

In fact, back in my playing days, I used to take a bucket of balls to home plate, toss them up into the air and hit them out of the park, it is EASYER to hit a fastball out, but ANY PITCH can go yard, just trust me. Professional hitters can take ANY pitch out of the park.

@ESPsandEmgs actually the faster the ball is comeing at you the more force you can put on it to send it the other way. thats why when you see professional baseball players hitting fastballs they go much further because all the energy goes in one direction unlike a head on car crash where the energy goes in both directions
