  • I recently broke the throttle sensor on a spill. I saw in your video that you shouldn't touch the sensor. I want to replace the sensor but i don't want to ruin my bike. do you have a repair video for the sensor or should i just drop off my bike at the dealership.

  • @Fidojovan The sensor is a variable resistor. There is a possibility to adjust it if You have a very precise voltmeter. Still its safer to see Your BMW dealers workshop.

  • @Fidojovan sorry , it took me so long.... I agree with Fidojovan....see dealer!

  • Great video, I did use the R1100RS before and do my own throttle adjustment. I balance with manometer that I specially made it. The U tube is about 12 inches tall with a balance line to desensitize it initially and pinch the balance line to get a more accurate reading. The throttle sensor can be adjusted.. I did mine myself but its not for the faint hearted, its best to send it to the dealer.

  • Thank you for posting. Great videos. Your videos keep me away from the dealer haha
