  • I bought 3 microtech knives. A Scarab, Combat trooadon and a Ultratech. All three broke not 3 days after normal use of just flicking the blade in and out. I sent them back to the dealer that promised me a full refund, (still waiting ) I was very dissapointed to say the least. I put down a lot of money for 3 microtechs and the springs broke in all ALL 3.

  • @MrRockhardalan Darn, that really sucks. I hope MT upgrade their qc control.

  • @MrRockhardalan Unbelievable, did you resolve the microtech issues. We're you happy with the dealer. I just bought three microtechs, an ultratech, combat troodon and a makora. I hope I didn't waste the cash....

  • @rightsman123 not yet, need to send in my utx70 next time I visit US.

  • @9nova6 Have you seen a video on youtube testing the halo v and scarab? You will be disappointed at halo v :(

  • @oromoto i have a navy scarab, and that is next to my halo_v my fave microtech ever, that thing feels perfect, i don't really care fot the exec version, i prefer the gripteck inserts like you have to in your scarab.

i carry the YTX-70 in the pouch on my belt, for little tasks, for defensive purposes i probably go for my Ka-bar that is in my backpocket if needed, wich not has happend thankfully. the scarab is indeed the best in that bunch. love the scarab

  • @9nova6 Yeah it is short. But I'd like to see it as last ditch defensive tool. Since it is so light you can have it even as a neck knife. Primary defensive tool? never :) Try to get a Scarab, I think it is the best of the bunch.

  • a UTx-70 is no devensive blade friend, nobody whould place there live in such a small knife. it's a perfect knife for small cutting tasks like opening food packadges or something, not good for defence. the trodoon or scarab are way better suited, of for that matter a halo whould scare anyone off. sthe trodoon i'm still looking for, there's to much nice stuff i like out there

  • @TheShanessenahs Thank you for watching!

  • Nicely done. Many thanks!
