Figues that the idiots in Congress would require us to use a bulb, first that is made in China, 2nd you have follow EPA procedures to dispose of, and 3rd contains mecury which has been banned for years. They are expensive yes. Will you see the difference on your electric bill, probably not. Do they cut down on environment damaging emissions, I doubt it. But Congress in all there wisdom is hell bent on regulating everything in our lives. That's why we elected them, right.

@ronc454 you are kidding, right? we have sat by while the dem. party has passed law after law that was violently against the majority sentiment of the American people. they passed a health law that requires people to pay for coverage or pay a fine....or what? jail? sounds like a dictatorship to me. now they want cap and trade AND higher taxes?  i've seen my monthly expenses go up nearly $400 in just the last year due to these changes yet my income has frozen. justified? no way.

Egotistical, Disingenuous, Scary - Just a few of the many words I would use to describe this video. Assumptions are made and implied as uncontestable facts which under scrutiny just do not stand up, (such as 'big government is bad for you...").

The best thing we can do for our collective good is to work to remove these sorts of attitudes from public office. Get out and vote. It does matter who we allowed installed into high offices. This video clearly reminds us of that!

Due process, attorney (Supreme Court says underfunding your public defender's office so it is overwhelmed with cases is not meeting Constitutional mandate), freedom of speech, freedom of religion, no cruel and unusual punishment - all violated. When did Spokane become so un-American and so anti-Christian? Wealthy and leisure class worship money, stockpile it in banks. Taxes create jobs and corrections. Tax the wealthy and put everyone back to work.

@geoffy2u Yes for the last two years of his term. But during his first 6 years, when Republicans controlled congress and the White House, government still grew. Don't get me wrong, I believe far too much is at stake to allow a party whose acknowledged goal is perpetual increase in the state to remain in power. But when voting for the R, just bear in mind that they have not historically kept government in check, and that you'll need to watch and rally and continue to keep them honest.
